Entering scores manually

Teachers navigate to their assigned class and exam, then enter scores in a spreadsheet-style grid:

1. 1Select the class and published exam from your dashboard.
2. 2The student roster loads as a grid with score input fields.
3. 3Enter scores — the system validates against the max score in real-time.
4. 4Out-of-range entries are highlighted in red and blocked from saving.
5. 5Click Submit when finished — scores are saved and flagged for admin review.

For teachers managing large classes, download a pre-formatted spreadsheet, fill in scores offline, then re-upload:

Admin score review

Before scores are finalised, admins can review submissions on the review dashboard:

• Submission status by class and teacher — see who has and hasn’t submitted.
• Filter for incomplete entries or classes with missing subjects.
• Flag unusual patterns (e.g. all students scoring the same mark).
• Send reminders to teachers with outstanding submissions.

Score locking

Once all scores are verified, admins lock the exam. Locked scores cannot be edited without an admin override, ensuring data integrity for report card generation.
